L’Élite begins with Malika’s work—first known in Vancouver as Malik Flowers, now the standard of a house built to be recognized across a room.
She remains the creative authority. The pieces are no longer signed as “flowers by Malika,” because the house must hold when other designers work beside her. The eye is hers. The name on the box is L’Élite.
What is preserved: the relationships, the service knowledge, and the refusal to send anything that would make a sender wonder whether the gesture looked expensive.
